Intelligent Synchronizing Panels: The Core of Uninterrupted Power
At Plus 3 Group, we design and manufacture high-performance Synchronizing Panels, the essential technology for facilities where power continuity is non-negotiable.
Synchronizing is the precise process of matching the electrical parameters—such as voltage, frequency, and phase angle—of two or more power sources (like multiple generators or a generator and the grid) before connecting them to a single busbar. This allows them to work in unison as a powerful, combined energy source.
The Evolution: From AMF to Synchronization
The journey toward seamless power begins with the AMF (Auto Mains Failure) Panel. While a standard AMF panel handles the basic switch between the grid and a backup source, a Synchronizing Panel takes this a step further.
In environments where a single backup source is insufficient, or where the transition must be invisible, synchronizing allows you to link multiple captive power sources—including Diesel Generators, UPS systems, Solar, or Wind—to meet high demand without interruption.
Operational Principle: How It Works
Our panels utilize motorized Circuit Breakers or Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) connected to a common busbar system. The operation follows a sophisticated logic:
Detection: Upon failure of the primary grid, the synchronizing relay activates.
Startup: The alternate power sources (DGs) are triggered to start.
Matching: The panel monitors the "magnitude" of each source, adjusting the speed and voltage of the engines until they are perfectly aligned.
Connection: Once synchronized, the breakers close, and the loads are shared proportionally across the running units.
Built for Durability and Protection
We ensure that our panels are as rugged as they are intelligent. Every Plus 3 Group synchronizing solution is built to the following specifications:
Precision Fabrication: Enclosures are crafted from laser-cut CRCA (Cold Rolled Close Annealed) sheets for exact fit and finish.
Advanced Coating: All metalwork undergoes a rigorous 7-tank powder coating process, providing superior corrosion resistance and a professional aesthetic.
Environmental Sealing:
Indoor Panels: Rated at IP54 or higher to protect against dust and moisture.
Outdoor Panels: Rated at IP65 or better, ensuring total protection against harsh weather and water jets.
Why Choose Plus 3 Group Synchronization?
In critical production industries, the Synchronizing Panel is the most vital component of your LT (Low Tension) distribution system. By choosing our solutions, you gain the ability to scale your power capacity, perform maintenance on individual generators without total shutdowns, and ensure that your production line never misses a beat.
